Megan Febuary on Trauma-Informed Writing
Megan Febuary is a trauma-informed writing coach and the founder of the global storytelling platform and literary magazine For Women Who Roar. Called a leading expert in creative recovery, Megan received her MA from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, where she focused her research on the body as a storyteller. She is also the Author of BRAVE THE PAGE: How Writing Our Hard Stories Brings Healing and Wholeness and the For Women Who Roar poetry collection.

WISDOM & WORDS Fall 2025 Vermont Writers’ Retreat!
Join us from October 17 to 20, 2025 in the beautiful mountains of Vermont during peak foliage season! For fiction and memoir writers. We’ll be staying at Amee Farm Lodge—the perfect setting to get away from it all and inspire your next writing masterpiece!
This fully restored farmhouse features a wraparound porch with panoramic views, wide plank pine floors, and handcrafted furniture. Each retreat guest will have a beautifully appointed guest room. The property boasts two ponds and is located just beside scenic hiking trails and a quintessential Vermont general store.
Of course, the focus of the long weekend will be on the thing we all love—WRITING.
What makes WISDOM & WORDS Writing Retreats so special?
