Welcome to WISDOM & WORDS! My name is Darcey Gohring and I’m so happy you’re here! As an instructor of memoir and personal essay, I hear stories every day that deserve to be out in the world. But too often, in this algorithm-driven culture we live in, a story can’t find a home because it isn’t based on a trending topic or it doesn’t fit a certain formula. I wanted to give writers a space where well-written stories can be read. And also where writers and readers could connect through the craft we all love. Here, stories matter.
