Hi there, I’m Darcey, the founder of WISDOM & WORDS. As an instructor of memoir and personal essay, I hear stories every day that deserve to be out in the world. But too often, in this algorithm-driven world we live in, a story can’t find a home because it isn’t based on a trending topic or it doesn’t fit a certain formula. I wanted to give writers a space where well-told stories have a home. Where writers and readers could connect and find community. Here, stories matter.
